Emergency Support Services
Special thanks to Kiewit Corporation, St. Mary's Food Bank, Grant Park Barrio Youth Project, and CPLC for our successful Community Festival on April 9th at Grant Park!
Overview
The Emergency Support Services program assists low-income families, seniors and homeless individuals to help stabilize their personal and home environments through emergency relief. The Emergency Services Coordinator meets with each individual or family to conduct an intake assessment and design a plan to address their specific needs. Together, the Coordinator and the client determine the best course of action to resolve their crisis situation. Follow-up services are provided to the fullest extent possible.

Jurado's Family Story
There are no words to express how much your assistance has helped my family. I thank God there are programs like yours at Friendly House that help the community in their times of need.
My husband and I couldn’t have foreseen the hardship of both being unemployed at the same time. Thanks to the Rental Assistance, we are able to keep our household afloat. I know that soon with God’s help we will get back on our feet.
Thank you to all that work at Friendly House, and for the funding that has made your assistance possible. Your generosity and kindness will live on forever in our hearts.
