About the CompTIA Program
Are you ready to start your GED journey? Do you have an interest in technology?
Have you ever wanted to explore a career in IT?
To qualify for this program, you must be enrolled in our GED prep class and not currently have a High School Diploma.
This program will help you prepare to earn your GED - High School Equivalency and your Comp TIA A+ certification.
The following is a summary of what you will learn about your Comp TIA A+ certification:
Demonstrate baseline security skills for IT support professionals
Configure device operating systems, including Windows, Mac, Linux, Chrome OS, Android and iOS and administer client-based as well as cloud-based (SaaS)software
Troubleshoot and problem solve core service and support challenges while applying best practices for documentation, change management, and scripting
Support basic IT infrastructure and networking
Configure and support PC, mobile and IoT device hardware
Implement basic data backup and recovery methods and apply data storage and management best practices
Apply today for our 10-or 20-week program in which you'll have the opportunity to earn your HSE (High School Equivalency) diploma and pass the exams needed to become a Comp TIA A+ certified professional.
Schedule: T-Th from 5-9 PM and M-W-F from 6-8 PM
