Friendly House Workforce Development Department's mission is to prepare individuals and families in the community to become self-sufficient through education, job placement into quality jobs, and provide access to occupational training. We provide three levels of services:

1. Business Services
Let our team help you fill your job vacancies by advertizing to a diverse groups of qualified workers. Our workforce development network can assist your business find qualified employees.
In addition, we provide the following services:
- Job opening advertisements – Call Friendly House Workforce Development Department to advertise you job openings locally through a variety of mediums including Community Resource Center
- Customized recruitment -Friendly House Workforce Development will assist you with small and medium scale recruiting and will also provide space at our facilities for on-site interviewing.
- Matching qualified worker to your positions - Our staff will match candidates to your job openings and refer those who meet your requirements.
- Job fairs – Friendly House hosts two regional Job Fairs per year and also does high demand cluster specific Job Fairs. In addition to participating job fair, we can help you market the event and access a pool of qualified candidates.
- Labor market information - We will help you locate local and national labor market information such as industry trends, wage surveys and population information
2. Job Seeker Services
Are you are looking for a job, seeking information about vocational training schools, local labor market conditions, or career trends? Do you want to brush up on your interviewing skills or learn new job search techniques? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, the Friendly House is for you. The following services are available to you regardless of whether or not you are currently employed, and most are available to everyone!

3. Youth Employment Services
Friendly House is a member of both the Phoenix Workforce Connection and Maricopa Workforce Connection works in collaboration with United Way Aspire group, to provide the city of Phoenix and Maricopa County youth with quality programs designed to assist youth and young adults with barriers to education and employment.

- In and out of school youth ages 14 to 21.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
- The Phoenix Workforce Connection presented Friendly House Workforce Development Department with the Luminary Award. Friendly House received this award for its "innovative ideas," "best practices," "success stories," and "customer focus."
- Friendly House Adult Education & Workforce Development department was recognized at the national level for "Best Practices" by National Council of La Raza.
