The Friendly House ARRA Adult Program has done it again!
Career Advisor Angela Cifuentes explains, "Karlo came in as a recent graduate from ASU with a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Energy and Environment. He was diligently applying to different companies but kept hearing the same thing." Many companies informed Karlo that his lack of experience was his barrier.
"So we implemented an Individual Employment Plan to emphasize on developing his soft skills, such as an effective cover letter, resume, job search techniques and tools needed in today’s tight job market."
