The Friendly House Home Care Department is dedicated to providing quality care to low-income elderly and physically disabled individuals in the Phoenix metropolitan area.
Receiving our services allows individuals to remain in their homes as long as safely possible, allowing them to maintain their independence, quality of life and most importantly, their dignity.
Without our services, many of our clients would be unable to continue living in their own homes and require placement in more costly and restrictive settings, such as adult foster care, supervisory care, or an alternative living/nursing facility with significantly higher costs.
During fiscal year 2002/2003, the Home Care Department provided over 43,000 hours of services to nearly 400 individuals.
There are two ways for individuals to receive our services:
1. Case Manager referrals through our contracts with the following:
• ALTCS Plans (Arizona Long Term Care System)
• Mercy Care Plan
• EverCare Select
• Area Agency on Aging
2. Private Pay. There is an hourly rate dependent upon the type (s)
of services provided. We request a 2 hour minimum per visit.
