Academia Del Pueblo

About Us

Academia del Pueblo has a comprehensive elementary school curriculum. All students receive rigorous instruction in English Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, Computer Education, Physical Education, and  Spanish for our middle school students.  Academia del Pueblo is committed to providing an extraordinary education for our students at every grade level. To ensure this, each classroom aligns teaching and learning to the Arizona standards. These standards are the foundation for relevant, and authentic learning opportunities that allow AdP students to connect to the world around them while applying critical and abstract thinking strategies.  Our highly qualified teachers use the most up to date curriculum to create meaningful and rigorous learning opportunities for students and inspire our students to become global thinkers and community leaders. Friendly House’s Academia del Pueblo is located next door to the Early Childhood Development Center (ECDC) at 201 E. Durango Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85004. The school is a continuation of ECDC’s curriculum offering a collaborative learning environment encouraging respect and responsibility, and challenging students to develop into productive citizens.
